Ragdoll is one of the prettiest, and, probably also one of the most laid-back of all cat breeds. It is large semi long-haired cat and has beautiful big blue eyes.

Ragdolls are calm, quiet, easy to handle, undemanding, and possess an almost canine loyalty. They are very tolerant of most situations, very sociable and gentle. Their lovely nature makes them ideal for children and multi-pet households. Ragdolls are careful to avoid scratching.

They love human contact and will follow you round like a dog, so they are sometimes called puppy cats.

Ragdolls are always there to meet you at the door when you return home and tend to follow you from room to room and like to be involved in whatever you are doing or just to sit close by.

Ragdoll cats remain playful throughout their lives. They are an intelligent breed and easily learn tricks like Fetch or Beg.

The Ragdoll is a very trusting cat; therefore they must be kept as indoor cats only, otherwise they could easily be taken. Also, they would not stand a chance in a cat fight if let out.
